Roc Lui

A Hong Kong–based male singer and modern vocal coach. He teaches online, to singers anywhere in the world.

Roc Lui is a Hong Kong–based male singer, modern vocal coach, and the founder of Roc Lui Vocal Studio. He teaches online to singers anywhere in the world.

He was not a “natural” singer. He loved singing, but early on he did not sound good — parents and friends even asked him to quit. That pushed him to find teachers and learn properly. The hard part was that singing is not one-size-fits-all: many lessons did not fit his voice, so he spent unnecessary time on the wrong tools and stalled. He built his studio so students do not have to repeat that path — clear diagnosis, the right tools for their voice, and progress that actually sticks.

He coaches mixed voice and contemporary technique with a research-based approach for Pop, Indie, R&B, and Rock. Since beginning to teach in 2023, he has worked with over 100 students across countries — from children to older adults — whether the goal is clearer pitch, stronger technique, or singing at a professional level.

Behind the studio is more than a decade of singing (since 2015), with rich stage experience across solo performance, group a cappella, choir, and street performance.
